Physics

Today On Wednesday 27th July we had a physics workshop with Lance Du from ACG and his friends from Kristin school in Albany. He came to teach us how to build a catapult. The materials we used were Popsicle sticks, rubber bands, tape, hot glue and metal & plastic spoons.First we started making the base but that was to hard somehow that we moved on too catapult rod that was really easy and we moved onto the base again this time we used hot glue instead of tape and it was super easy. When we finished we went to the hall with room 5 to have a competition. The first round Issac’s team won but room 5 wanted a rematch. We had a rematch and Spencer’s team won but room 6 asked for another round.this time we went one by one not all at once Issac shot all the way to the end of the hall and Spencer went and lost then everyone got candy!

  1. Hi Moe! Wow, that must’ve been an amazing experience! How was it? It seems so fun, how lucky you are to get the Kristen School students to go and spend time with you all! Your group’s catapult looks amazing too! How far does it go? How good was your team in the Catapult competition? I bet you guys were fantastic! Kai Pai!
